Nestled on the banks of the Cheoah River, the historic Tapoco Lodge has been a North Carolina mainstay for outdoor adventurers, gear heads, and nature enthusiasts since 1930. Here you can explore the 120 acre campus via groomed trails, visit Nantahala National Forest, enjoy a craft beer at the riverside bar, or ride the Tail of the Dragon.
The Tapoco Lodge is EV friendly, with 3 high-powered Tesla Destination chargers and a Clipper Creek station located in the parking lot of the "Tin Can Theater". They also have several 110V wall outlets located throughout the covered parking areas near the lodge, which are perfect for charging one of our bikes overnight while you rest in a cozy bed.
This property offers several houses that are not only decked out with amenities like hot tubs, kitchens, fire pits, and clean shop towels, but they are also electric motorcycle friendly. The owners designed these properties with motorcyclists in mind, so most have garages so you can park inside for the night.
Every property has easy access to 110V outlets for overnight charging. The "Treetops" property even has a NEMA 14-50 outlet (50A RV outlet) which can be used to charge our motorcycles with the proper adapter.
Snowbird Mountain Lodge offers an all-inclusive mountain retreat experience. From taking care of each of your meals to daily event programming and complimentary adventure gear, your time at Snowbird is designed to be an experience in letting go, and immersing yourself fully in the nature that surrounds you.
What better way than to immerse yourself in nature than with the silent power of an electric motorcycle that you can charge at one of their high-powered Clipper Creek charging stations, right?
